Hello, my name is Stephanie Ung and I am currently a first year student at the University of California, Irvine. I am a young and still rather naive ‘adult’, at the youthful age of eighteen. Wanting to gain more knowledge and broaden my horizons, I enrolled in a year-long course called Humanities Core. This course integrates many different issues regarding the humanities, ranging from the arts to international and global issues. This year, through the engaging and captivating course, Humanities Core, I will be dedicating this blog to the many experiences I will encounter not only in this course about the humanities, but also in my personal life events.
